What was OJEU?
The Official Journal of the European Union carried contract notices for cross-border public procurement. UK buyers used OJEU/TED before Brexit transition arrangements moved UK publication to FTS.
What replaced OJEU in the UK?
From 1 January 2021, UK above-threshold notices moved to Find a Tender. From 24 February 2025, notice types follow the Procurement Act 2023 on the CDP.
What should suppliers do now?
- Search FTS and Contracts Finder (or TenderLedger unified search)
- Retire internal SOPs that say "publish/search OJEU"
- Train new bid staff on CDP notice names (Tender Notice, Pipeline Notice, etc.)
Common questions
What is Ojeu?

Is this still current after February 2025?
No. Legacy term.
